Teaching in a Traditional Learning Centre is mandatory for those teachers interested in teaching in a Traditional Learning school within the CBE.

This is an online course facilitated by an instructor which explores the philosophy, pedagogy and organizational structure of a traditional learning school. This course explores the Traditional Learning Centre’s use of teacher-directed instruction and character education to foster reflective thinking, continuous learning and responsible citizenship.The program is a celebration of cultural diversity and commonly held values.

This course is intended for all educators who are interested in:

• Teaching in a Traditional Learning school
• Interested in the approach and pedagogy

Note: The duration of this course is  usually 8 weeks. This course will be 6 weeks long. Although the timeline is shortened, the content is not.
